Let me try to clarify the diagnostic pricing. Most units or systems are quick to diagnose a problem. The newer units, such as high-end mini-splits, heat pumps, steam boilers, and furnaces, take time to diagnose the issue. We may have to revisit your place. These units are time-consuming, taking more than 20 minutes. By making this payment, you are agreeing to our service pricing. If we repair your machine and your unit goes down, you must book another appointment with us. It is important not to let another company touch your machine. If you do so, you are in breach of contract.

2 Heater / Furnace service, preseason check /inspect/clean/test furnace $300, no parts.
3 If you use us to repair the unit, the $90 will be applied to the final cost of the repair.
4. Some units have unique problems like pressure switch tripping. No diagnostic is needed for the problem; it is just that. To solve that issue, what is making the pressure switch trip? Prices start at $225 hr, and UP tries to determine why the switch is tripping. In many cases, we will need to disassemble various components of the unit to attempt a repair. If parts are required, an additional cost will be added to do the job. One thing to remember is that we cannot guarantee this will work. In some cases, this is totally up to the owner to proceed or move forward with service. Testing for Electrical Issues: If a repair is required, such as loose wires, we will charge according to our pricing menu, starting at $225. We want to be transparent about pricing upfront. We have overhead expenses, such as licensed contractor insurance and wear and tear on the vehicle, to name a few worker comps. When we come to your home or business to service your unit, we charge based on the job, not by the hour.

5. For furnace systems cleaning and inspection to certification, we charge $300 for NO repair. If parts are needed, the cost will go up. We will provide you with the total cost of the job upfront to certify your unit and ensure it is safe to operate.

6. When doing a Heater / Furnace inspection and cleaning, we use a combustion Analysis tool to check the combustion performance & carbon monoxide output of the unit. We also check the chimney draft, inspect wires for problems, clean the burner tubes, clean the firebox, and inspect safety switches, pressure relief valves, low water cut-off, and the operating thermostat. We do not carry filters; we will install one if the customer has one. We charge $300 to $400 to bleed the radiator and refill your system with water. We are not responsible for old, leaking valves on your pipes. That cost will be applied to the service if a repair is needed.
Steam Boiler repair/installation is $ 90.00 for an estimate of any service
